A car accident in Louisiana can occur in sometimes the most unlikely situations. Many accidents occur when people are at their most comfortable — driving through their neighborhood, for instance, or on their daily commute to work. According to reports, a woman recently filed a lawsuit in Louisiana. The woman claims that a local government vehicle struck hers. She also claims that the accident resulted in personal injury. The lawsuit alleges negligence. According to the claim, the defendant’s vehicle, which was owned by the Louisiana parish, struck the rear of the plaintiff’s vehicle.
Allegedly, the accident resulted in injuries to the plaintiff, as well as damage to her car. Among the charges the defendant faces includes negligence through failing to keep a lookout, as well, as failure to apply the brakes in time. Also among the charges is overall reckless driving. The plaintiff is seeking attorney fees and court costs, along with all reasonable sums due.
